Course Description
This course will allow you to gain skills in Teaching and Supporting Pupils Online. Learn how to use digital learning platforms such as ClassDojo, Seesaw and Google, and explore practical ways to integrate Digital Technologies into teaching, learning and assessment.
You will be able to teach students using digital technology where they can post text, audio, video and interactive assessments. School leaders and Digital Technology Co-ordinators will be able to explore the Digital Learning Framework (DLF) and learn how to manage the transformation of teaching and learning as they embed digital technologies into practice, as well as the six-step process of School Self Evaluation (SSE) and the Looking at Our Schools (LAOS) Framework– a key guide to improvement in schools.
Digital Learning Platforms allow teachers to create content and use tools that enhance Pupils’ enjoyment in their learning experience. The interactive components of these platforms show pupils’ progress and achievement of learning outcomes. Their engagement with learning contributes to their sense of wellbeing. These platforms also allow teachers to develop pupils’ subject-specific skills and attitudes in accordance with the School Curriculum.
